Guwahati Municipal Corporation has established City Livelihoods Centre (CLC) at the GMC office premise, Lakhtokia under Deen Dayal Antodoya- National Urban Livelihoods Mission. The inauguration ceremony was graced by 
Sjt. Siddhartha Bhattacharya- Hon'ble Minister, GDD
Smt.Monalisa Goswami – Commisioner, GMC
Shri.Deba Kumar Mishra – Additional Commissioner, GMC
Sjt. Tasdiqur Rahman - Chief Engineer, GMC
along with CMMU (NULM) staff, GMC staff and 150 SHG members.
The CLC will act as a “one-stop shop’ for those seeking services from the informal sector as well as for the urban poor promoting their services and product.
